Memorial Day weekend

is one of those weekend’s,  I am glad when  its past……. its hard for me to hear those so excited for a 3 day weekend, and all the FUN they are going to have …..it always seems to sting to hear people not know the true meaning of Memorial day…

I guess in reality those that not have lost a loved one just honestly don’t know how it feels………

Going to the cemetery to visit your parents , or any loved ones isn't easy and doesn't get easier …… sigh….

I don’t live very far from where my parents are buried, some days I LOVE they are  so close and other days I cry as I drive by because they are there ..

One thing I have learned in grief is we sure cannot control death and who is next…

I just need to remind you all , LOVE those that are with you as it could and will change in any second….

 

Ok enough on sadness..

 

good news to report..

My sweet daughter , her new  mother in law to  be, and 2 of her bridesmaids  and I , spent the day together Saturday Wedding dress shopping!. OH BOY!..

Laci tried on so MANY dresses and it was like a light went off when she tried on the ONE! she said MOM this is the DRESS!!  WHAT are you sure I said…

there was no  more trying on dresses she FOUND it !

I cannot show you the DRESS, but I did take LOTS of photos of her in ALL the dresses, it may be one of these in the below picture! she looked so HAPPY, she was grinning from ear to ear !…..

it was so fun, we all laughed , and well maybe cried a few tears, but it was so much FUN! especially to be back to together with Laci and her BEST girl friends from school, it sure brought back memories of me and my girlfriends !  After the dress shopping, we headed to the water front for some sunshine, outdoor dining and great food  on the waterfront !.. the girls all posed for several photo ops ! ..

Im Backkkk…..

Gosh its been since March  that I have posted the exciting Wedding NEWS!  all is going well with that, wedding dress shopping this weekend will probably be a real EYE opener, its so fun to see Laci so excited about everything ! ..

I have been all over the place teaching and Now finally Home for some semi down time in the salon!.

Art Camp Spring was wonderful, lots of new faces from all over the United States ! always amazing..

Claremont California was BEAUTIFUL! I got to room with Suzi , and Joy was the hostess with the mostess for sure ! by far my favorite stop yet !

I have new classes posted for June and July, and I will be off in Aug, Sept ! well kinda, Art camp SUMMER is in Aug, there is only 2 spaces left, so don’t delay if you want to come enjoy the amazing sunny  Bend Oregon !.. my favorite place EVER!..
